What’s Happening for Houston Veterans This Week (May 25 - 31)
Happy Monday, Civvie!
Today is Memorial Day. A day to pause, reflect, and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Across Houston, you’ll see that spirit in action through events focused on remembrance, community, and giving back.
From Flower on Every Grave to the Memorial Day Family Carnival and the hands-on wooden flag workshop, the week starts with meaning and continues with opportunities to show up and support the veteran community.
The Civvie Connect is this Wednesday: register here
This is where the community comes together with veterans, supporters, and real conversations. If you’ve been meaning to get around more veterans in Houston, this is your moment to get in the room.
The week continues with Flags of Honor and the Patriots Charity Classic, carrying the Memorial Day mission forward through service, competition, and connection. Then we roll straight into a packed June with workshops, tournaments, and more ways to stay plugged in.
If there’s one week to show up, this is it.
