What’s Happening for Houston Veterans This Week (Aug 31 - Sep 6)
Happy Monday, Civvie!
We’re kicking off next month with some big news for our Houston Veteran Community.
The Civvie Connect is happening every Wednesday, rotating to a different part of the Houston area each week. Our goal is simple: make it easier for more veterans across the city to get connected without always having to drive across Houston to do it.
Here’s where we’ll be in September:

And we’re coming into the new month with some momentum. Last week’s The Civvie Connect in Katy brought together another great group of Houston-area veterans and supporters. Check out the photo below and see what this community is becoming.
There’s plenty more happening around the city for veterans, too. September’s calendar includes business events, career opportunities, the Veterans Beer Club, the Air Force birthday celebration, family events, and several opportunities to come together in remembrance of the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
