What’s Happening for Houston Veterans This Week (Aug 17 - Aug 23)

We’re heading into the second half of August, and the calendar is about to get busy.
This week, the HRVCC After-Hours Mixer in Katy, then next Wednesday it’s our turn. The Civvie Connect is back in Katy on August 26, bringing veterans from across the Houston area together for another evening of conversation, camaraderie, and new connections. If you haven’t registered yet, now is a good time to get on the list -- there are already 64 registered to attend.
The very next night gives you plenty of choices. Veterans Beer Club, an HRVCC After-Hours Mixer, and the Hero Spirit Bowling League are all happening across the area.
And take a look at September. The calendar is already loaded with opportunities for veterans to connect, grow a business, explore new careers, honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11, play some softball, and even celebrate the Air Force birthday with steak and lobster.
Whatever you're looking for, there's probably something on the calendar for you. Pick an event, bring another veteran with you, and get involved.
