🌟 THE CIVVIE SPOTLIGHT

The Houston Veteran Community is Coming Together This Sunday, April 19th, from 11am - 4pm

Valor & Victory Fest is more than just an event. It’s a reflection of what’s possible when veterans, local businesses, and organizations align around a shared mission.

This year’s event will bring together 250+ veterans, local supporters, and families, alongside 100 active-duty service members, for an afternoon centered on food, entertainment, wellness, resources, and real connection.

And none of it happens without all of those behind it.

🤝 A Community Effort

Puttery Houston, a long-time supporter of veteran events, is helping us create the entire experience.

They are opening their doors and supporting the mission; they’re giving attendees a place to gather, connect, and unwind. With unlimited mini golf included, the environment is intentionally designed to feel less like a formal event and more like a shared experience.

🎤 Featured Speaker: Wellness Meets Performance

One of the highlights of the day will be Houston Fitness Czar Samir Becic, author of ReSYNC Your Life.

Samir’s message focuses on something many veterans understand, but don’t always prioritize after service.

Training the mind and body together.

His approach blends fitness, longevity, and lifestyle optimization. It gives attendees practical ways to improve their health, energy, and performance long after the uniform comes off.

🔥 The BBQ Showdown

One of the highlights of the day will be the BBQ competition and tasting, featuring a head-to-head matchup between:

Both teams will be bringing the heat, serving up some of the best BBQ Houston has to offer.

Bragging rights are on the line.

Because no great gathering happens without great food.

🫡 Organizations Making an Impact

Valor & Victory Fest is also about connecting veterans to the organizations that continue to support them long after service.

Victory for Veterans
Focused on suicide prevention and reducing isolation, they provide year-round support through their Warriors for Life online peer community and holistic healing programs.

Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce
A growing network of veteran entrepreneurs and professionals committed to economic growth, collaboration, and business success within the veteran community.

Career Gear Houston
Dedicated to helping transitioning veterans find meaningful employment through career workshops, professional development, and direct connections to hiring employers.

Together, these organizations represent a larger mission.

Not just support. But opportunity.

⭐ Patriot Sponsors Supporting the Mission

Behind the scenes, sponsors are stepping up to ensure this event delivers real value.

Seven Principles
Helping veterans navigate VA disability claims while focusing on long-term financial stability and generational wealth building.

Opulence Collective Group
Serving military families with strategic real estate guidance, helping them build wealth through homeownership with a focus on trust, service, and advocacy.

GovClose
Providing veterans and entrepreneurs with the systems and training to turn government contracting knowledge into real income opportunities, opening doors to a multi-billion dollar market.

🎉 Bringing the Experience to Life

A great event isn’t just about who shows up. It’s about the experience.

DB Decorations Party Events
Creating the visual atmosphere with custom balloon décor that brings energy and personality to the space.

Moving Forward Photos & Entertainment
Providing a 360 photo booth experience, capturing the day in a way that’s interactive, shareable, and memorable.

Got Ur 6ix
Printing custom event apparel live on-site, giving attendees a way to take a piece of the experience home with them.

TSM Houston
Maintaining on-site security for the event, their volunteer service, and defense personnel are committed to ensuring a safe and secure environment for everyone in attendance.

❤️ More Than an Event

What makes Valor & Victory Fest different isn’t just what’s happening.

It’s who’s coming together.

Active-duty service members getting a glimpse of what’s ahead.
Veterans reconnecting with a sense of community.
Organizations and businesses stepping up to support both.

This is where conversations happen.
Where connections are made.
And where the mission continues.
